Picture driving down a road and you look to see the speed limit. Yet, when you look, you see five signs all with different speeds. What do you do? You know you have to make a decision utherwise you'll never reach your destination. You decide to try the speed limit on sign A. Wouldn't you know it, you get pulled over for speeding. "Well, maybe it's sign B" you think. Nope, cause the police pull you over again. After some trial and error, and finding out what is wrong, you finally find the perfect speed. You now can drive down the road with ease because now the police can't touch you and nothing is in your way. It's funny how easily this compares to life. We are all given choices. As humans we can't see the outcome. Sometimes, it's going to take some trial and error. Yeah, sometimes you're going to do the wrong thing. That's what happens when you don't know the truth. But when you know the truth, you can feel it. You can go through things with ease because you've found what you know in your heart is right. Satan can't touch you. You've tried the other choices and they've given you nothing but trouble. Now, it doesn't matter how many signs there are on the road, because knowing truth, you only focus on the one that's right.

Truckstops, a place where one stops to rest and most importantly refuel. What happens if you don't refuel? You run out of gas. In life we sometimes get too caught up in things that we forget to refuel. I'd never thought it was a big deal until recently I, myself, ran out of gas. I went to a Newsong concert, and if you've never seen them, I strongly suggest you try. Anyways, I went and in the show I wasn't as excited as I should've been. I mean, here's my favorite band literally 10 feet in front of me. It was when they played a song called "Rescue" that I realized what was wrong. I'd for so long been putting on this disguise of a Christian. I went to church, led the songs, read my bible and doing the good Christian things. But that's it. I wasn't living for Him anymore. I was simply showing off for others. But as I sang the chorus, "I need you Jesus, come to my rescue. Where else can I go?... This world has nothing for me. I will follow you" it finally came clear. I wept right there for I knew I was changed. Life since has been great. So next time you're feeling empty inside, find your own truckstop and take the time to refuel.

Okay I'm back. In case you missed it and don't feel like scrolling down, I asked everyone to make a list of all the things that they would die for. Most of you said things like parents, family, your faith, friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, so and so forth. I'll admit mine wasn't too long. Now here's the twist. Look at that list. How many of those things would you LIVE for? Interesting huh? We say would die for Christ, but that's easy. To die for something often is associated with glory and recognition... "Wow! He died for what he believed!" But I've been thinking, if we truly believe in something, shouldn't we make it a point to live for it? Living for Christ would mean going through struggles and torment from others, and having the constant challenge to remain strong in faith. However, though there's challenges in the Christian walk, I honestly think that we can all agree that it is well worth it. Christ stuck up for us, so let's stick up for Him.

Hey everyone, hope you're all doin good. I'm reading a book right now (yeah I know it surprises me too) and it got me thinking. So I have a little activity I'd like you all to do. Don't worry it shouldn't be too hard.
Death. It's a scary thing to most. Now think about this. How many things would you die for? Be honest. What would you give your life for? You can post them, write them down, tell me, keep them secret or whatever. It doesn't matter, just as long as YOU know what they are. Some of you may need some time to think so I'll give you all a day or so. I'll post the rest of it in the next couple of days. Thanks and remember, be honest.

Well you guys wanted a post so here it goes. Well more than likely not very many of you know that I was in an accident yesterday morning on the way to school. I was going down the road and a guy collided with me head on. Don't worry we're both ok and it wasn't my fault. But sadly, though I walked away, my truck is completely totaled. So for those of you who knew Trucky please take a moment of silence now to remember him. Thank you. But yeah, for now I'm driving a rental until we buy something else. Once again, don't worry I'm completely fine, just a little timid when I'm in the car now. Hopefully I'll get over that soon. But anyways I'm outta here. Take care everyone! Love 'em like Jesus.

I need you Jesus, come to my rescue
How many of you guys out there stress about stuff? Believe me, we all do it. I myself have had more than my fair share of stressouts. But you know what, it's not necessary. Why do we feel like we have to worry about the things of tomorrow rather than living for today? Last night at Winter Jam I had a discovery. Stressing out is pointless. Spending all your time worrying about this girl or this test or whatever does absolutely nothing but destroy your morale. Taking action is the key. Step up to do something about the problems in your life. And realize you're never alone. There's times when can't do it alone. We're only human. But when you seek out the help of Christ, truly anything can be overcome. When you can fully turn things over to him is when the healing starts. Don't be selfish and try to do everything yourself, it simply doesn't work everytime. He loves you. He died for you. He's ALWAYS there to help. Just pray and let Him do his will and it will be done.
"Cause I need you Jesus. Come to my rescue. Capture me with grace. There's no other name by which I am saved. I will follow You." -Newsong
